Akshaya Patra, the world’s largest NGO run mid-day meal program, launched its centralized kitchen in Nathdwara with a capacity to provide mid-day meals to 75,000 school children. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways C P Joshi inaugurated the 32,000 square foot technology intensive kitchen.
To commemorate Teacher's Day, The Akshaya Patra Foundation organised a special event. The programme which began on 06 September, 2014 will run for four Saturdays at different venues across Bangalore.
