Campaign Overview

Hi! My name is Regina Telinski and I am a student at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) studying for a BSE of biomedical engineering and a minor in social work. In January 2018 I traveled to India on a short term study abroad program with the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at CWRU. Akshaya Patra is one of the various nonprofits we visited and I was really inspired by the work they do there. By implementing a free midday meal program for schools across India, Akshaya Patra has been eliminating classroom hunger and reduced school dropout rates by feeding over 1.7 million children every day. I am starting a campaign to raise money to feed an entire small school in India for a year. Please consider donating even if it's just a few dollars to end childhood hunger and encourage education in India.
