Let's work to feed the children through Akshaya Patra, involved in this work at larger scale Their aim is to eradicate classroom hunger in India by providing hygienically cooked, nutritional mid-day meals to children attending government schools across India. Their Vision is : No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger. Our mission is to feed 5 million children by 2020. Akshaya Patra Foundation currently provides a meal to 1.6 million children in 13800 schools nationwide. It takes Rs. 950 To Feed A Child For A Year!
